Cocktail Recipe - Vodka Rastapopop

Yippee, the sun is out and it is Friday. Cocktail time. Less than an hour to go and I'm off home to have a BBQ and soak in the pool. Normally it would be beers with the BBQ, but tonight I have some Jamaican sauce for the BBQ and thought it would be cool to have some nice cocktails. A quick search through the cocktail archives and I have found this beauty - perfect for tonight! Basically, it is a fruity, exotic shooter in the colours of the Jamaican flag. A spectacular-looking drink that is quite simple to make.

Ingredients:

You can infuse your own vodka with strawberry, or buy pre-flavoured vodka. More fun infusing your own ;)

Instructions:

  • Pour the syrup into a shot glass.
  • With a mixing spoon, layer the liqueur on top of the syrup.
  • Repeat with the vodka.
  • Possibly set alight, and drink in one go through a straw.
